Every now and then something comes along in the world of Internet Marketing that makes one sit up and pay attention. This feels like one of those moments. Welcome to my review of Master Affiliate Profits – they would like us to Join the MAP Revolution.

I have been active in affiliate marketing for more than 10 years now. The idea is pretty simple. If you do not have your own products, promote someone else’s in exchange for a commission. Just keep sending traffic to other people’s offers and keep collecting commissions. If an offer gets stale – find something new to promote. Simple really – people who buy. I know for one I am a buyer. Anyone who suffers shiny object syndrome is also a buyer. Anyone who has me on their list has a good chance of getting the sale – because I buy.

Welcome to the world of affiliate marketing, where the rules of the game have been rock solid for ages. As a product vendor, sign up an army of affiliates to promote your offers. Run a product launch or a promotion. Affiliates send their traffic. For the traffic that buys, add them to your lists – they are buyers. You now have a buyers list. And squeeze out the affiliates who sent the traffic in the first place

Worse yet, the affiliate networks do the same (e.g., ClickBank, JVZoo, WarriorPlus). They know who the buyers are – they market deal of the day and new launches to the buyers in their lists. And squeeze out the affiliates

Step back a little. Why did I buy? There are a bunch of Internet marketers that come from United Kingdom – I relate to them well as that is where my roots are. One of those is John Thornhill – he is as down to earth an Englishman as you can get. He has had good success in building his own coaching programmes and promoting a few JV partnerships. I know, I bought into one a few years back with Michael Cheney and more recently with James Neville-Taylor – the Rapid Profit Machine. Both programmes are essentially free programmes – yes you can start with no outlays and promote the program using free traffic. Of course it works better if you sign up for an autoresponder and buy traffic – no prizes for guessing who wins the commissions – the sponsors of the program

I saw the emails from John Thornhill and a bunch of other list owners about a new way – MAP. I started to fill in the application form and abandoned – price felt a bit high. It was not until I got an email from Kevin Fahey saying he had called John to ask about the program.  John said “buy it”. Kevin did. I did. Kevin smashed out some amazing results in a few days.

What is different about MAP compared with other affiliate marketing programs? You have to buy to promote it. There is no free review access – plunk down the money before you can promote. The price is high. They promise to send you traffic. Kevin promised to send traffic. And any lead that signs up under you is signed up for life. Whatever else they buy you get paid. And you get paid for people they refer (one level deep).

A week in and this is my traffic – a few from my promotions, just over 50 from Kevin Fahey and the rest from MAP. They stand by their word of sending traffic – not converting but it is free traffic.

You might wonder why MAP are offering such high commissions for phase 2. Simple really – the $790 ticket is high – do not have to sell many slots to make $225 profit – like 2 – the same as selling 50 eBooks for $25 and paying away 50%. I sat through the VIP Onboarding call – the ticket prices on the various VIP offers are also large. If I was running a coaching business I would be happy to pay a big commission for a solid daily rate. Imagine scoring 75% on a $3,500 VIP program.

So it is designed to help more with what to do – strategy and tactics – rather than specific action steps.  I have not sat through all the training but the first few were very consistent – taking a top down approach with strategies and specific tactics on what does work. The rich experience also flows into highlighting what does not work.

Two classes of people who would be well suited to buy.

1. People who are already well experienced in affiliate marketing – they know what tools to use and what buttons to press. I guess that is me
2. People who are whizz bang good at driving traffic to offer s and less good at follow up. Drive the traffic and let MAP do the rest

The Funnel: MAP Revolution

MAP is somewhat different – there is not a funnel.

There is an invitation to watch a webinar in which John and Omar describe what the phase 2 opportunity is = Platinum Membership giving full access to the program. The program is open for phase 2 for March 2024. Phase 3 begins at the start of April. This is the key reason for joining now. Phase 3 goes to a monthly program with tiers – Free, Silver, Gold, Platinum

This is a picture of the contents for the training – I said there was training – a mix of recorded training and live training. The recordings are jam packed with strategy and tactics – not what button to push = my type of training

 

Backers get access to all the high value addons. Traffic is available to platinum members only – that accounts for more than half of the visits I have already had. This keeps one current with the changes in the industry – Melinda and Omar learn the changes the hard way and share what needs to be done differently

This image is about the commission structure – as a backer you head to the maximum. In phase 3 there is tiering applied. Th front end for phase 3 is an unlikely 100% – get people in. The tiering on levels moves to 75% – basically you need to sign two people to cover the additional cost. And the kicker is, at Platinum 2nd tier kicks in at 25% – that is why Kevin Fahey was happy to send traffic to my Onelink.

Let’s not get too carried away – all these levels apply to Phase 3 – for now the focus is on signing up backers – i.e. directly into Platinum – access all the tools and training and collect 75% commissions plus 25% on tier 2 for a one time fee

Now I said there is no funnel. There is however a VIP Onboarding step. This is done by phone call which opens up VIP Access to join higher level programs run by John and Omar and Melinda for regular conversations – workshops. One of those programs has an opportunity for higher commissions rates. That will be of value if you can commit the time to join in the workshops (and timezones work for you) and you are confident that you can build a list of buyers big enough to deliver the returns – prices look high. However the bump in commissions fixes that – sign 5 people or 7 people and you will cover the higher fee.

As the VIP Onboarding call is for backers – will not say anymore. I sat through the call – am on the fence but I can see how the numbers pan out – 7 backers is all it needs – less if one of those backers can do the same as me.
