This review is exactly that. I have used Commission Gorilla for two recent product promotions specifically aimed at getting ready to promote my own product launch. The review video shows me putting together my own product launch bonus page.

Does Commission Gorilla work?

Their mission was to make it easy to add bonuses. I have been using Commission Gorilla for my last two product launches. In this review video, I used Commission Gorilla to make the bonuses page for the launch of a third, The Iceberg Effect, a co-branded venture with Dean Holland at Internet Profits. The video walks through the basic structure of the product, how to add your own bonuses from a PLR (private label rights) product, and how to clone pages from best practice pages (and also to promote Promote Labs products). It then walks through building a page from a cloned page.

The video shows me walking through creating a bonus offer page for my third time only in around 30 minutes including taking time to explain stuff to you. That was 30 minutes to get the basics in place. I had to spend another 15 minutes after the video to get the words right and tidy up the links. What do I like?

• The easy to use block editor for building pages and bonus pages. I did not have to watch training videos to work it out. It does help to just work the way the software works – it is a block editor and not a free form page editor. Some will say that is a negative. i just work the way the software works.
• The library of pages to clone from using best practice or pre-existing Promote Labs offers. I used one of those to clone the bonus page for my Commission Gorilla page.
• The library of bonuses are especially useful if one is promoting affiliate marketing products. I like the consistency of colours and graphics too.
• The ease of adding in your own bonuses with integrated delivery with promote Labs bonuses. I did not have to look at any training videos either
• Maybe the biggest bonus is the ability to use existing pages to promote Promote Labs products. As it happens I do use a few of their products but have not really promoted them, till now.
• Price is good considering that they host the pages you build (you can host yourself)

I had not checked how mobile responsive the pages are when I launched. They are.

Disadvantages

When I first wrote the review, I had not tested all the wrinkles. The PRO upgrade does include the ability to add Custom Code. This could be used for stuff like Custom CSS for fonts and effects. It could also be used for adding pixels to the page to allow retargeting to visitors to the page. The fine print says that if Commission Gorilla are hosting the page, they do not support the hosting of such code.  You can add pixel code BUT you have to download the page (as a .php folder) and upload it to your own hosting. Now that is not a train smash BUT it is an extra step in the process and another layer of complexity, especially if you do not have a website suitable for doing that.

They offer an additional 25 bonuses as an add on sale. I would like to be able to buy those as a one off purchase – now available in the V3 funnel. It is hover bundled as a monthly plan – get 25 extra bonuses plus 2 a month for a monthly fee.
