Introduction: 100k/Year Made Simple Review

Welcome to my 100k/Year Made Simple review. Kevin Fahey has been active in Internet Marketing since 2007, or thereabouts. In his latest product, he is aiming to help newcomers and struggling Internet Marketers and Affiliate Marketers to jump start their success to reach $100k in commissions each year.

I bought 100k/Year Made Simple on launch day and spent time on launch day whizzing through the written side of the training. I went through some of the video training while I was writing this post to check the richness. I found he made complicated stuff seem quite simple. Here is my receipt.

 

 

The training is delivered by video and text . I like that as I can read text faster than anyone can talk about it. But Kevin does caution buyers to watch the videos as well as the richness comes from there – especially when he dives into examples.

There are 6 modules

1. Planning and Mindset – he lays out a 4 step approach here
2. Monetizing Everything – he gives examples of how t do that using banners, email signatures, cross-posted links, etc
3. Automate & Repeat – this is the game of using automation to free up time for creating new content and new emails.
4. Outsource As Much As Possible – this is more than finding time but also a way to ramp up quality
5. Planning First $100K Year – get funnels working for your own products. And then get affiliates selling your products.
6. Traffic – 4 types – Joint ventures/affiliates; Social Media; Solo Ads; Paid Traffic – not a lot of detail here – pick one in each category and focus.

He says his model is quite simple – it only has 4 steps. I have paraphrased them here

1. Give away something valuable for free and include upsells on your thank you page
2. Build a list and promote affiliate offers related to why they signed up to the list.
3. To get to 100k – create your own products and sell them to your list
4. Build an affiliate army to sell your products.

Now all of that seems simple enough.

To start with step 1, you need to find a compelling offer to give away. You need to have a page builder to support the opt-in page and the thank you page. You need to have an autoresponder to collect the emails and to send out the follow-up emails. The video section of the training offers ideas on how to do that and a lot of it can be done for free.

My experience is it is not as simple as that. For example, he suggests Aweber FREE as a way to start doing the emails. What he does not tell you is the free version does not allow you to use the API to connect to your landing pages. You have to cut and paste the HTML code = that immediately becomes tricky for anyone starting out who struggles with the technical stuff. But a quick search of the Aweber Help will show you how to do it.

Step 2 is also simple enough and Kevin does suggest places to get affiliate offers. What he skims over is the challenge for newcomers of getting approved by other vendors on affiliate networks like WarriorPlus and JVZoo. He does cover this in some of his other training. It is not hard – complete your profile details on WarriorPlus and then request approval from Kevin Fahey – tell him which product you bought. He wants to support his customers and he will approve you.

Step 3 can be made simple in its own way – you do not have to be a super product creator to pull it off, he says. Kevin talks through a few examples of how he started. Make a report summarising your own action steps and results – people do buy proven experiences. There is a different simple way – access some Private Label Rights products which include the sales pages and email follow up sequence. Quite a few of Kevin Fahey’s products fit in this class – example the Premium PLR Reports series. It is a bit more than simple but what it requires is a clear process and consistent application – rinse and repeat.

Step 4 is uncomplicated if you have proved that your products sell. Affiliates will jump to promote stuff that works and it is easy enough to incentivise them with an affiliate contest. Put sales minimums in if you are afraid you will not sell enough to cover the prizes. Check the leader boards and approach the consistent leaders and ask them to promote your stuff. There are heaps of minefields and he does cover some of them.

What you will note in my commentary is there is a lot of stuff not covered in this introductory training. Yes it will get you headed in the right direction but you do have to do a fair amount of researching to find out how to do the details. This is where the first upsell is pure gold. Who Should Buy 100k/Year Made Simple?

100k/Year Made Simple is a simple and yet detailed program. It will suit anyone who has been doing Internet Marketing for a while and is not getting results – let’s call them the strugglers.

The level will especially suit newcomers but they might struggle to put up the basic building blocks needed to get a compelling offer in place. For that, grab the IM VIP Training upsell as well – that will get all the bases covered. The Free Affiliate Funnels upsell will help with finding stuff to promote – front end giveaways and back-end funnels.

Of course, the most obvious candidate is the person who will implement. Do not bother if you are going to let this gather dust – buy a couple of pizzas instead. That is all it costs.

How to Use 100k/Year Made Simple?

You will get the best value out of the 100k/Year Made Simple if you move into action quickly. Follow the guidance for the first step of the 4 step process. Research the details you will need to get right and start.

• Find a free gift to giveaway – make one yourself or grab some Private Label Rights. My SureFireWealth membership bonus will give you some materials in a few different niches.
• Choose an autoresponder and a place to host your opt-in page (you can use your autoresponder for that too). Aweber FREE is a good place to start if you are stuck.
• Find a follow-up offer to promote on one of the affiliate networks. Be aware that ClickBank only pays out when your sales reach a threshold and they start charging fees that absorb commissions you have earned before your reach their thresholds.
• Use social media or solo ads (do a trial run) to send traffic to your very own opt-in page.

Smell the taste of success and work out how to automate it all so it becomes a repeatable process.

Kevin Fahey has built a whole industry around IM checklists. This upsell is a classic example of how Kevin scales his business model with a recurring revenue product. Bonuses: 100k/Year Made Simple Review

The key to buying a product like 100k/Year Made Simple is to start and to do stuff. I hesitate to add bonuses to product launches like this because they get in the way of doing stuff. Bonus shopping makes sense only if is not at the expense of actually using the product you have bought. If you buy the first upsell of the IM VIP Training, you do not need any bonuses to help with technical stuff.

My bonuses all take something of a step back to help you with mindset and personal productivity. I did however add in two new guides. The one of Social Media Stories is hot off the press and it is a hot topic which Kevin Fahey has not applied in his business to any degree. Building sales funnels is a key part of Steps 3 and 4 of the approach Kevin Fahey suggests. I have added a guide for you to master that topic.

Summary and Conclusion

I really liked the training in 100k/Year Made Simple. As a long time affiliate marketer, it highlighted a bunch of things I have not been doing as well as I could. It certainly highlights the journey one needs to begin to get to $100k/year – selling your own products using an affiliate army. Few people grasp that when they start out

The level is really pitched at people who are newcomers or who are struggling. The IM VIP training in OTO#1 will really jump start your progress. There is a lot of stuff in there but if you cherry pick your way through from the building blocks presented in the $100k/year Made Simple training, you will have success.

The Free Affiliate Funnels upsell is a no-brainer if you are new to affiliate marketing and are having trouble getting approved on the affiliate networks. Kevin will auto approve you for his funnels. Make a few sales there and you will have a solid sales reputation in no time to approach other vendors. What you will find though is you cannot post WarriorPlus links directly to many social media channels (e.g., Facebook) – you will have to create your own bridge pages (they are included) which brings in a layer of complexity. The training in the upsell covers how to do that.

The Free Traffic Shotgun upsell provides over the shoulder video training to support Module 2 of the 100K/Year Made Simple 4-step training – monetize everything. It is not rocket science but it will accelerate your own processes – just follow along and execute.

The IM Checklist products are good products. I did buy access to the 2020 modules a little while back and I am a member. If the 2022 modules fit with where your gaps are have a good look. The no brainer things to do is start the trial – grab the 2022 releases and deploy them as products of your own – note you may not sell them on JvZoo or WarriorPlus – so you will need your own selling platform or go to Paykickstart or Clickbank. Then decide based on the upcoming releases if you want to keep subscribed – , Vol. 57 is Cutting Operational Costs (end August).
