Review Sites IM Checklist Review
Introduction: Review Sites IM Checklist Review
Kevin Fahey has built a reputation as the master of Internet Marketing Checklists. So much so that he has published 24 volumes of them. His latest is Review Sites IM Checklist.
I signed up a little while ago to his IM Checklist Gold 2020 membership. That has given me access to all the 2020 checklists and each of the new ones he produces – volume 35 is the latest in this series and covers the topic of Review Sites.
The checklists – there are always 18 of them in a volume – go through all the steps you need to follow to accomplish a set outcome. In this case the topic is all about Review Sites.
Why Build Review Sites?
I did a little digging to understand how important review sites are. At one level, Hubspot say that 1/3 of buyers base buying decisions on reviews. Deeper than that fully 92% of buyers buy after reading a positive review (a quality positive review that is).
Now I have built a few review sites in my affiliate marketing journey. In the early days, review sites were a popular push button marketing ploy. The vendor would sell a pre-populated review site in a niche area with links to Amazon products. What one had to do then was add in the Amazon links and progressively add in more and more review articles to supplement what the core site started with. I have a few running in coffee machines, in cookware and in drones. The challenging part is driving traffic with the core of the heavy lifting done by SEO using keywords. If someone wanted a “Le Creuset griddle iron”, you could steer them to your review site article with the right keywords and collect a commission when they made the purchase.
Of course, review sites can cover a wide range of product and service areas – this blog post is an example of a review about an information product.
As I work through the Review Sites checklists, I have done a bit of an audit to see how well I have done. I did do the keyword research work to arrive at a niche and a domain – e.g., drones led to QualityDronesForSale.com. What I was less good at was choosing a theme for the WordPress site – the one I chose worked just fine for a while but is now no longer supported. The checklist covers that – pick a reliable theme, preferably a paid one, where you can be assured of support over time. Each time Amazon changes their API, my theme provider needs to make changes – he stopped doing that.
The lifeblood of review sites is to continue to drive traffic using SEO and supplementing it with social media and eventually with your own list marketing. All of that is in the checklists. Enough of the mini case study.
PLR Power and this IM Checklist
This is a Private Label Rights (PLR) product. You can make it your own and sell it as your own. The PLR rights are a little different for the IM Checklists to others I have seen. You can edit them and change them around as much as you like. You can use them as a bonus for a paid product and you can add them to a paid membership site and you can turn them into video training. All that is pretty normal. The limits are that you may not convert them into an eBook and you may not sell them on JVZoo or WarriorPlus. I am going to guess that Clickbank will become off limits though the words do not say that. Of course, you can sell them from your own website as your own product.
The art of using PLR is to brand them as your own. In my review video, I started to show a way to convert them to an interactive checklist using a new software tool called Kuicklist. This works really easily with a little cut and paste work and with some editing to get the flow and structure the way you would like and also to add in all your affiliate links in the detail.
Check the review video here – it is a little over 20 minutes and well worth the time.
I covered the main offer and the upgrades in the video but here they are again

Conclusion: Review Sites IM Checklist
My take on it all. This is a professionally made product. If you are aiming to make your own product review sites, buy the checklist and use it. The low price will save you making the sorts of mistakes I made on mine. Review sites are a large market area – so there will be demand for a well made product using the checklists. So if you have followers who might be heading down the review sites route, buy the PLR, make your own product out of it and sell it on. Or simply add it to your membership site. You can also use the individual checklists as lead magnets – there are 18 lead magnets ready to roll – they will just need some graphics and a landing page.
Bonuses
My bonus idea is a little different. I will convert two of the checklists into an interactive checklist using Kuicklist. You can then deploy these onto your own membership site or website or use as a lead magnet. Send me a purchase receipt and choose which checklists you would like to make interactive. Just give me the names as I have access to the checklists anyway
I have previously offered a bonus of a one year membership to Stratocharge Your Income Masterclasss for anyone buying the PLR Premium Reports – OTO3. These 5 modules give the foundations for a solid start in Affiliate Marketing. Send me a purchase receipt if you buy those reports – it will take me a while to automate delivery. Resources
Kuicklist – The checklists are delivered in PDF or Word DOC form. Kuicklist offers an easy to implement way to make checklists interactive. Add in your own detail descriptions with you affiliate links, add some branding and you have fully interactive checklists you can deploy on your own website or WordPress blog. Check it out here. I did buy the first OTO so that I could remove the Kuicklist branding.
