Product Dyno Review
Back Story: Product Dyno Review
This Product Dyno Review started as PromoteLabs was running a VIP Platinum Lifetime deal on JVZoo – that promotion has now finished and they will continue running a Starter Edition and the monthly unlimited offers. This review tries to cover both scenarios and has bits related to the Platinum offer (which is what I have).
I am probably the worst person to write a review of Product Dyno. Why? 5 years ago I wrote a post about building membership sites and the plan was to use Product Dyno for which I had bought a lifetime membership – well I did get the site built for reseller memberships on a range of Internet Marketing topics. So I did spend the time taking an existing program that was already in Product Dyno and personalized it with graphics and the like. What I was never good at was getting the selling side working right – got two customers and then went chasing after other ideas.
A few friends were using Product Dyno for their courses and also for delivering bonuses – in my archives are a few remnants of the early attempts at doing that. It is a no brainer to deliver bonuses as Product Dyno is very good at managing the membership side and at ensuring the security of your materials you upload. It is time to get back to that – my friend Matt Garrett has done that really well. Setting up the bonuses is very simple. Getting hold of the buyer’s email address is a little harder as an affiliate you do not get that – have to ask them to hand it over. If the bonus is good enough, they will – if not too bad.
That is my story –Â a strong believer in the concept and a poor executor. What has changed this time?
The latest relaunch of Product Dyno VIP Platinum includes a bunch of done for you memberships and my journey is such that I have to start selling my own products – this is a perfect forcing device to do that. So – I already have a few courses set up. I have access to the new memberships from PromoteLabs – and I have a swag of other material to sell – example Wealth Mindset course – already built. Time to make it happen

My Thoughts as a User
Going to borrow and weave in a few words from a few friends who have used the product more extensively than I have
Creating the courses is easy enough and even easier nowadays with AI creating ability built into with AI Creator suite. It is all drag and drop simple. There is a bit of paradigm thought to get clear – the details of your offering go into Products – drag and drop whatever way you want to present your materials – text, PDF’s, videos, whatever – drag and drop simple. For example, one product could be a whole video course on a topic made up of several elements. The key to using the tool is to get your Products clear. Then you can collate different products into collections and promote those to your target customers.
So creating and presenting material is really simple.
The challenging part of any membership is is managing the members and access to the materials in a secure way – people are inclined to share the stuff. Product Dyno makes that easy – you have full control over adding and subtracting members. Send them a link to sign up with the accesses you decide – get their email address, allocate a password and off you go. Purchases made inside the platform are easily managed. And integrations are provided for purchases made on other platforms.
Navigation overall is simple enough. I have to say it soon gets overwhelming especially when you have several product areas. I read a review that says it feels like developer style – engineering style – I agree with that one. The front end interface is not exactly intuitive – here are screenshots for creating a product
Good start – a simple screen to choose the type of materials you are going to be using. Next step is to choose a template – some basic templates mimicking other platforms – then you get this screen
There is a guide that tells you the sequence to go in. The logical sequence given where you start from is Content Designer – load in the parts of the module or course you are creating – then work out all the other stuff. I am going to guess this is is why I have mishmash of courses in part construction – it just seemed to get a bit hard. The one that did work really well was cloning the done for you pages – was a breeze once I worked out all the image proportions – had to work those out manually.
Stepping back to that first panel – Product Dyno does support custom domains but they will let you use a subdomain of theirs. There are limits to the amount of storage but good integrations to cheap and reliable storage with Amazon S3. That does add in a layer of complexity – S3 is not the friendliest place to work with. Good news is everything includes SSL – that is really important these FTC days.
Part of the process is Product Dyno does manage the sending of login credentials – it does pay to have a backup manual process through your own support desk if that does not work first time. You do want to know that email credentials get sent timeously.
Plenty tutorials to help you with every detailed usage – they are all short and to the specific points – and have been kept mostly up to date.
Product Dyno: Review : The Starter Edition
The starter edition is exactly that – a starter which will work fine for starting. This is what it includes
Quite frankly that feels too limiting. – the real power of Prduct Dyno is the ability to bundle products into collections – having only 1 collection kills that on the head and 5 products does not really provide a good staircase for any membership. More about that later.
Compare that with the Unlimited Plan
The bad news is, unless you can get a lifetime deal, you have to pay $199 per month. Now there is a free trial for 14 days for this capability – could be worth kicking the tires before committing. Now I do know within Product Dyno, they are always selling upgrade opportunities – plenty of reviews point out how painful that is. Two paths – buy the starter pack or sign up for the Free Trial. Use it hard inside the refund timeline and decide to refund or cancel the trial. If you choose to stay, then hang out for the lifetime deals. I am told that there will be opportunities coming up for webinars promoting the lifetime deals – get onto those. I generally hesitate to endorse lifetime deals as I have seen so many go out of business – have a level of confidence that PromoteLabs will be around OR they will sell it onto someone else reliable. My lifetime deal is still standing after 6 years going.

Their words from their website
PromoteLabs is a reputable name in the digital marketing industry, known for delivering high-quality products that empower entrepreneurs and marketers to succeed online. With a focus on innovation and user experience, PromoteLabs has developed a suite of tools and resources designed to simplify the process of creating, selling, and managing digital products. Over the years, I have bought a lot of their products and use them especially for creating bonuses. Examples that are still in the stable are Automated List Profits, Membership Command, Kuicklist, Product Dyno, SureFireWealth all of which I use regularly. Many of their products have migrated to different owners on the back of their successes. Examples of these include Commission Gorilla (which I still use for bonus pages), Split Test Monkey, and Conversion Gorilla.
About the people
Often referred to as the ‘Dynamic Duo’ of online digital marketing, Simon Hodgkinson and Jeremy Gislason, the co-founders have worked together for over 20 years and whilst in addition to running their own successful businesses (Simon in the UK and Jeremy in the USA) they have generated millions of dollars in sales of digital courses, software and membership subscriptions.

Bonuses: Product Dyno Review
I did compile two sets of bonuses for the Lifetime launch and for the Starter Edition – they overlap. Email me your receipt to mark@markcarrington.com if you land up buying into the lifetime full version and I will share those bonuses then. If you buy via JVZoo you will get the bonuses delivered automatically
The Starter edition bonuses include two AI prompt kits to help with organic and paid traffic, a few reports to help with membership strategy and 3 memberships to help with traffic and PLR and membership marketing. They also help to grasp how memberships work
Click the image to go to the bonus page to see the details – order buttons are there too.
The Lifetime Bonuses were a bit more comprehensive
Summary and Conclusion
Product Dyno (a full edition) offers everything you need to create and sell digital products, from course creation to membership management. The Starter Edition is limited in products and collections and does not include the AI stuff. At one level, the platform is designed for ease of use, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced marketers. It does help to work with a bit of an engineer mindset – it is not all obvious from the outset. There are a range of add on tools to help with sales and marketing and cross sells, including a page builder to do your own sales pages. Pricing is subjective – memberships can be sold readily for $20 to $50 a month. People stay around generally for 6 months or more. Sell two memberships and you have recovered the $49 fee. Use the 5 products in a drip feed way to run a course with new materials coming out monthly and you have a good chance to keep your first members for 6 months. For the $199 a month version, you will need to sell 4 to 8 memberships and keep them flowing through with new content.
Product Dyno is a solid tool for anyone serious about digital product marketing. With its comprehensive features and user-friendly design, you’ll be well-equipped to create and sell your digital courses and memberships successfully. Hit the button below for direct access for the Starter Edition.
